Yvonne P. (Willette) Lorraine 86 of Ludlow died peacefully Monday morning in a local nursing home. Born in Ludlow, MA December 12, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mabel (Barrett) Willette. A self employed hairdresser with many years of service, Yvonne had her own beauty shop on Center St. in Ludlow for many years. She was also the hairdresser for the former Ratell Funeral Home for many years. A faithful and active Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth, she was also a member of the Mended Hearts Club. She was the widow of William Lorraine Jr. who died in 1987. She is survived by her children, a daughter Diane H. Goncalves and her husband Alex, and Stephen W. Lorraine and his wife Diane all of Ludlow. Cherished Grandmother of Melissa Goncalves, Angela Peterson, and Kristine Goncalves. Great-Grandmother of Brooke, Nicolas, and Cody. Sadly she was predeceased by her sister Jeanette Patenaude.

Funeral Services Celebrating her life will be Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 9:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Celebrated by the Parish Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow at 10 AM. Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
