Obituary

W. Lucille Lawrence, 88, of Davenport, FL passed away peacefully on February 14, 2020. Daughter of the late Walter and Winifred (Ney) Mourninghan, she was born June 5, 1931 in Providence, RI. “Lucy” as she was known to her friends, was married for 67 years to her late husband Byron (Bill), who passed away in 2018.  When they started their married life, Bill was in the Navy. To the Lawrence family: I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy for your loss in your family. I’m happy for your mother/mother-in-law that she is reunited with her husband and she is continuing her journey in a special peaceful place. My teenage memories of both of them is of a warm and friendly welcome into their home, both of them wearing a big smile. That is how I will always remember them. Wishing you peace and comfort as you walk down memory lane with them. Love Therese Mallett
