Walter L. “Larry” Venne, 80, of Ludlow passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. Born in Westfield, MA on May 21, 1937, he was the son of the late Henrietta Gutowski. A longtime Ludlow resident, Larry was a driver for Bestway for many years. He was an avid gardener, sharing the bounty of his vegetable garden with family and friends. Larry was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Jacqueline (Before) Venne of Ludlow; two sons Dale Venne of Ludlow and Donald Venne and his wife Nancy of Granby; a daughter Robin Leslie and her husband Steven of Chicopee and a brother Joseph Borelli of Ormand Beach, FL. He also leaves 2 grandchildren Asiana and Raleigh.
Visiting hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
Services celebrating Larry’s life will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
