Virginia R. (Stellato) Gallo 99 of Ludlow formerly of Gerrard Ave. East Longmeadow died Monday April 11 in a Chicopee nursing home. Born in Springfield, MA February 17, 1912 daughter of the late Generrino and Giovannina (Fiorilli) Stellato. Virginia had been a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and was active at the Ludlow Senior Center. She was the widow of Antonio Gallo who died in 1998. Sadly she was predeceased by her daughter Patricia A. Slepecki in 2008. She is survived by a son Frank Gallo of Ludlow, 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be Friday April 15 with family and friends gathering at 8 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Celebrated by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St Ludlow at 9 AM Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery
