Theresa C. (Syriac) Ouellette, 96, of Ludlow, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Daughter of the late Louis and Jenevive (LaRoche) Syriac, she was born in Ludlow on October 26, 1925. Theresa attended St. John the Baptist School and was a graduate of Ludlow High School. Following graduation, she put herself through comptometer school, of which she was very proud. She worked as a waitress at the former Homestead Inn, at Monsanto and for many years at Harold’s Flower Shop. She was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She was also a longtime volunteer at Shriner’s Hospital. Theresa’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She especially cherished family vacations at Wells Beach, ME and spending time with her grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her children Constance Cramton of Westfield, Richard Ouellette of Boonville, NY, Mark Ouellette and Keith Ouellette (Diane) both of Ludlow. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Joshua, Danny, Amy, Nicole, Greg, Jaime, Ryan, Aaron, Jeremy and the lights of her life Mikayla and Kelsey Ouellette, as well as her 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Emile Ouellette in 1998, her daughter Diane Musa in 2019 and her siblings Bernard, Clarence, Leonard, Oswald, Fabiola Bourcier and Edmund.
Visiting hours for Theresa will be Monday, September 19, 2022 from 4:00-6:30 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. A Service celebrating her life will be at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 or www.LoveShriners.org.
