Timeline for Terry W. Robbins

Terry W. Robbins, 74, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Robbins, he was born in East Brookfield, MA on September 20, 1949. Terry proudly served his country as Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during and after the Vietnam War. He and his wife Lynda operated Ludlow Vault Company for many years. Terry loved riding his 1989 Harley and watching the Patriots at the cellar bar. One of the “good guys”, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Most of all, he cared deeply for the “critters” in his life: Tippy, Princess, Smarty, Petey Lasha and especially “Harley the Cat” who rode home with him on the bike as a kitten, from Solmer.
Terry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lynda (Smokowicz) Robbins; his daughter Nissa Gadbois and his stepson Christopher Robbins. He also leaves his 11 beloved grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth Phillip, Richard, Stanley and Donald Robbins and his sister Shirley Stewart.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Our sincere condolences.

I was uncle Terry's namesake. I just heard in Vermont today from my Aunt Roxy. Very sad news, he was a hero for a few years of my life. I always felt like I was experiencing an adventure when he was around us. He was a part of the Wallace family as well. Obviously...looking back in time, it would have been nice to know him more as an adult. He will definitely be missed.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. It was clear that he was well loved. Keep all the memories close to your heart .
Dear Terry, living so far away we didn’t get to know you as well as I would have loved to. You were always welcoming when we visited from Florida and you made my dear cousin Lynda happy. You are at peace with our Heavenly Father. You are loved and missed. Love, Lorrie and Peyton
My deepest condolences to you and your Family. Terry will be missed. We appreciated his wisdom and courage he has shown us over the years. Also, his dedication to serving as a United State Marine. He will always be remembered in my house. Terry RIP great one.
The most loving and funny Uncle you could ever have. Uncle Terry considered my sister Shelley, my brother Derek, and myself, like his own children. We spent many weekends, holidays, and summers over at the house creating the best memories. There are so many times he would make me laugh so hard I'd cry. He was extremely protective of us and would do anything for us. I will always cherish the times I got to have with him. I love you forever, Uncle Terry 💜!
Dear Lynda, I am so sorry for your loss of Terry. Terry was one of my high school friends and then became my brother in arms and finally my brother-in-law. Our short times together in business and family were always enjoyable and memorable. May he rest in peace. With sincere love and affection.
Lynda, I'm so sorry to hear about Terry. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our deepest condolences to you and the Family.
