Susan (Rae) Hubbard, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, Daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Cooley) Rae, she was born in Ludlow on July 16, 1946. A graduate of Ludlow High School, Susan worked as an assembler at Super Brush Company for 25 years. Her hobbies included crafting and bingo night at Village Green, watching Hallmark and taking rides with her daughters and grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her daughters Tina Heath (Jeff), Lisa Wells and Heather Hubbard; her sister Lois Goodwin and her grandchildren Nolan, Morgyn, Logan, Kailee and Tyler, as well as her niece Ellen Langan and her nephews Scott and Bruce Goodwin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law James Goodwin.
Visiting hours for Susan will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. A funeral home service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Donations in Susan’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 or www.shrinerschildrens.org.
Mom, You will be greatly missed. You were the most amazing mom a girl could ask for. You taught us strength, love, kindness and compassion. I would not be the mom I am today if it weren’t for you. You are going to be greatly missed. I know that you are looking down on all of us ❤️.
