Stanley S. Slosek

Stanley S. Slosek, 92, a member of the Greatest Generation, passed away Monday, September 8, 2104. He was born in Southbridge, MA on October 21, 1921 to Catherine and Thomas Slosek. He moved to Ludlow in 1923 and was a 1940 graduate of Ludlow High School. Stanley proudly served his country during WWII as a member of the U.S. Army serving under General George S. Patton. He saw service in battles of the Rhineland Ardenes and Central Europe. He was a self-employed wood flooring installer until his retirement in 1998. Stanley was an accomplished woodworker and an avid golfer.

He leaves his beloved wife of 53 years Eleanor (Lopes) Slosek and a brother Ted of California. Sadly he was pre-deceased by his daughter Jodi in 1971
