Sophie A. (Nalepa) Gebo

Sophie A. (Nalepa) Gebo 89 of Ludlow died Friday October 7 in a Wilbraham nursing home. Born in Ludlow September 10, 1922 daughter of the late Stanislaw and Anna (Rybak) Nalepa. Educated in local schools she worked for Monsanto Chemical as a billing clerk with over 17 years of service. She was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Community, and a member of it’s Ladies of St. Anne’s. She was the widow of Origene Gebo who died in 1984. She is survived by her loving children, Gary P. Gebo and his wife Carol of Ludlow, Susan Ordynowicz and her husband Edward Jr. Of Indian Orchard, Sara A. Przybycien and her husband Mark of Wilbraham, Shari J. Wilkins and Kate of Chicopee, MA. Sister of Thaddues Nalepa of Chicago, IL Claire Parylak and Albina Karczmarczyk both of Ludlow Grandmother of Michael, Lori, Kevin, Bethany, Rachel, Nikki, Natalie, Jason, Jessica, Kayla, and Kelsea. Great-Grandmother of 15. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
