Obituary

Sherri Ann Agen, 48, of Truro, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 after a year long battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  She was born on February 25, 1971 to the late Charles Agen and Kathleen (Agen) Harlan.  After graduating from Belchertown High School she worked as a van driver. Sherri had a love of all animals, especially pugs.  After visiting the Cape several years ago, she moved to Provincetown with her pug Franklin.  She made many friends and could often be seen around town with Franklin.  Most recently she worked at the Pet Resort in Provincetown.

Sherri leaves her mother Kathleen Harlan and her step-father Paul Harlan of Hampden, her half brother John Harlan and his wife Jen of Wilbraham, her half sister Michaela Phillip of Mashpee and her beloved niece Ella.  She also leaves her favorite aunt and uncle Linda and Nelson Vital along with several cousins.  Sherri will especially be missed by her pets Skyler, Indy and Jack.

Hey baby girl, I've seen a cardinal every morning since you were called to heaven. Indy is doing fine but I'm sure he misses you. We got his nails trimmed at the vets the other day so they could meet him. I would give anything to be able to give you a mommy hug again. Love you forever ❤️ Mom

It is with the deepest sadness that I write about my dearest niece, Sherri. She filled our hearts with laughter and many, many kindnesses. Sherri, I know Gram and Jaju have opened up Heaven's Gates for you. You will be eternally loved on earth and in Heaven. You are deeply missed already. Thank you for all the special moments we have shared during your life. May your soul be at peace after the courageous battle you have fought. Peace be with you. Proud to be your Aunt.

In missing and thinking of Sherri, one word comes to mind - enthusiasm! Whether it was for work, her family, her pets, Provincetown or the UConn women's basketball team (she loved to tell about playing against Rebecca Lobo in high school), Sherri was always all in. With a smile that lit up a room, Sherri invited everyone to share in her joy for life. What a beautiful picture of her. It says so much about who she was. She made being her uncle a very special part of my life. Thank you, Sherri. You will always be loved.

My heart is broken today. I just learned of the passing of my dearest cousin, Sherri. Sherri had the kindest heart of anyone I had ever known. She would always send specially chosen gifts for the holidays and birthdays. She was extremely thoughtful and ALWAYS put others before herself. She was the best mom to all her beloved fur babies!! I am especially glad we got to have a few special visits together reminiscing and sharing stories about the camp ("Ribbit") and the good 'ole days!!! I will always wish we could have had more time with her. She bravely fought her courageous battle against this horrid disease. Heaven has a very special angel tonight, though she will be so greatly missed here on earth. Love you Sherri Berri. I miss you so much already. Love, Robin My condolences to all who knew and loved her.
