Obituary

Ruth M. (Derosia) Giverson 84 of Ludlow died Wednesday, December 28 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Glencliff, NH September 27, 1927 daughter of the late Louis and Flossie (Rollins) Derosia. She had worked at Shop Rite Supermarket,Was the co-owner of John’s Variety Store of Easthampton, and was the co-owner of Chet’s Auto Wrecking. She attended Union Church. Ruth truly loved spending time with her family, and trips to casinos. She was the widow of Gordon H. Giverson who died June 3, 2006. She is survived by her children, Chester Giverson of Ludlow, Richard Giverson and his wife Janice of Gill, MA Linda Giverson of Chicopee, Donna Bousquet and her husband Kenneth of Chicopee, and Sandra Giverson of Ludlow. Sister of Barbara Libbey of Chicopee, Grandmother of Gus Coelho Jr. Ann Marie Rivers, Kenneth Bousquet, Jr., Audra Hunter, Rick and Adam Giverson and Megan Laberis. Also survived by many extended family members and friends. Sadly she was predeceased by siblings, William Derosia, Evelyn Sweeney, and Lydia Belyea.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 am at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow Rev Jeffery K. Erb will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
