Richard A. Klase

Richard A. Klase, 73, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Son of the late William and Dorothy (Moncrieff) Klase, he was born in Springfield on February 16, 1953. Richard was a graduate of Putnam Vocational School. He was a loving father and husband and a dedicated family man. He was also a skilled auto technician, he and his wife ran their auto repair businesses together for many years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Richard was predeceased by his wife of nearly fifty years, Celeste (Bergeron) Klase in 2024. He is survived by his children, Stephanie Klase and Seth Klase and his wife Sarah, his brothers David, Jonathan, and James Klase and predeceased by his brother Jeff Klase. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Cole, Christa, Stephan, Desiree, Christine, and Daniel, and his two lifelong friends Dan Marceau and Diane Patterson.
