Rejeanne Cecile (Maurice) Letourneau, 82, of Ludlow, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Jeanne (St. Marie) Maurice. A graduate of Cathedral High School, Rejeanne worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Hoffman Paint and Wallpaper, Daylight Dairy and Randall’s Farm as well as for several restaurants in Wells, ME. A longtime Ludlow resident, she and her late husband Alfred retired to Wells, ME in 1998. She returned to Ludlow in 2008. Rejeanne was an avid bird watcher, a lifelong Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. She loved spending time near the ocean.
Rejeanne is survived by her children Laura Chalifoux and her husband Christopher of Harvard, MA; Alfred Letourneau Jr. of Ludlow; Christopher Letourneau and his wife Lynn of Ludlow and Lynn Baker and her husband John of Deale, MD. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Leah Letourneau of Easthampton and Morgan and Abigail Letourneau of Ludlow. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Alfred Letourneau in 2000.
A private graveside service will be held for Rejeanne at Ocean View Cemetery, Wells ME, where she will be buried alongside her husband. There are no calling hours. Donations in Rejeanne’s memory may be made to the National Audubon Society, 225 Vareck St., NY, NY 10014 or www.audubon.org.
