Max J. Ogorzalek, 92 of Ludlow died peacefully Thursday, June 19, 2014. Born in Chicopee, MA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Drzymala) Ogorzalek.
Max was raised in Chicopee and educated in local schools. He proudly served his country during WW II a member of the U.S. Navy Seabees with service in the South Pacific. He worked as a pipe fitter for Hamill-McCormick retiring 30 years ago. He was a communicant of Christ the King Church.
Max is survived by his wife Celia (Motyka) Ogorzalek of Ludlow and his son Chester Ogorzalek and his wife Cindy of Westfield. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sadly, Max was predeceased by his daughter Sandra Prych.
Funeral services celebrating Maxs life will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 8:45 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springfield
