Mary N. (Balko) Caine, at the age of 103, of Ludlow, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late John and Barbara (Tomash) Balko, she was born in Vintondale, PA on April 15, 1915. Mary worked for several years as an Assembler at Milton Bradley.
She is survived by her children Edward Caine and wife Colleen of Pittsfield, MA, John Caine and wife Nancy of Hampton Bays, NY, Nadine Strahs and late husband Martin of Ludlow and Barbara Poidomani and husband Vinny of Torrington, CT. Mary was the loving “GiGi” to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Edward Caine in 1994, as well as her siblings Andrew Balko, Julie Toth, Margaret Antishin, Barbara Perry and Helen Kavanewsky.
Services for Mary will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 157 Fuller Road, Ludlow, MA. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
