Marjorie M. (Masucci) Dedeurwaerder, 91, of Springfield passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023. Daughter of the late Joseph and Wanda (Kusiak) Masucci, she was born in Springfield on February 22, 1932. A lifelong resident, Marge was a 1949 graduate of the High School of Commerce. She went on to work in the Registrar’s Office at Western New England College for 26 years, retiring in 1994. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish. Marge was vivacious and stylish. She loved shopping and coordinating her outfits, especially her jewelry.
Marge is survived by her son Mark DeDeurwaerder and his wife Sherrie of Agawam and her grandson Michael DeDeurwaerder of Agawam, as well as several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Alphonse DeDeurwaerder in 2011 and her sister Joan Allard.
Marge’s family would like to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice, especially her caregiver Vanessa.
