Marilyn J. (Wilkes) Lata, 85, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Leo and Florence (Adamski) Wilkes, she was born in Northampton, MA on May 29, 1939. She graduated from Smith Academy in Hatfield and went on to work at Valley Woman’s Health Group where she was the receptionist for over 40 years. Marilyn loved to work in her flower gardens, go on car trips ands spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren
Marilyn is survived by her children Brian Lata and Lynn (Lata) Germain and her husband Keith, all of Ludlow; her 3 loving grandchildren Alexandra, Jensen and Logan and her sister Karen Long of Eastham, MA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Patricia Trombley and her former husband Chester T. Lata.

Lynn, Brian, Keith, Alex, Jensen & Logan, Heaven has gained a beautiful angel who will be watching over all of you. Marilyn was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and always treated me like one of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cherish the wonderful memories you have of her.
