Maria L. (Gomes) Ferreira

Maria L. (Gomes) Ferreira 90 of Ludlow died February 18, 2013 at her home. Born in New Bedford, MA daughter of the late Francisco and Arminda (Cabral) Gomes. A Communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, she had worked for Rexall Plastics, and The Nixon Company. She was a member of the Ludlow Senior Center, loved to sew and work in her garden. She also loved to cook, and was happiest when her family was in her home. She was the widow of Albano G. Ferreira. She is survived by her loving children, Antonio A. Tony Ferreira and his wife Cindy of Ludlow, and Betty Sarno and her husband Richard of Burlington, MA. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Ann and her fiance Ryan, Brendan, Justin and Kelsey. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
