Marcia (Mowry) Hobbs, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019. Loving daughter of the late Everett and Roda Mowry, she was born November 13, 1941 in Ludlow. Raised in Deerfield, Marcia graduated from Frontier Regional High School. She worked for Hamilton-Standard for several years, displaying a wonderful knack for attention to detail. She enjoyed league bowling with friends, camping with family, was an avid reader and loved puzzle books. Marcia loved crocheting, making special pieces for anyone who asked. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family over coffee, playing cards, stories and some laughs.
Marcia is survived by her loving son Anthony Scalia and his fiancé Jennifer Giusto of Kissimmee, her step-children Keith Hobbs Jr and his wife Marcia of Wilbraham, Dr. Randy Hobbs of Lake View, NY, and Karen Joseph and her husband Thomas of Monson. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Nicholas, Alex and Brian Joseph, Keith Hobbs III and Angiolina and Mary Ann Giusto and her brothers George and Ronald Mowry. Marcia had many family and friends that were family to her and will miss her beyond words. Sadly, she was predeceased by her first husband Eddie Powers, 2nd husband Valentino (Tony) Scalia, Keith Hobbs of 35 years and her sister Janet Mowry.

Love and prayers out to you Grandma - you're in a better place now and we'll see you again someday. My brothers and I will forever miss the marathon games of canasta with you and Grandpa and meeting you at the campsite in Vermont when we were young. You had a great deal of wisdom and I could always count on learning something new from you and sharing some laughs whenever we were together. Until we meet again, rest in peace. - Nick
