Madeleine (Boucher) Landry 85 of Ludlow died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in a Wilbraham nursing home. Born in Ludlow, MA, July 1, 1927, daughter of the late Homer and Laurette (Surprenant) Boucher. Educated in local schools she was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish, a member of their Ladies of Stainte Anne, and a longtime member of the church choir. She was also a volunteer at the Tri-Town Survival Center. Madeleine had worked for the former Steiger’s Department Stores with many years of service. She was the wife of Maurice W. Landry, mother of Susan C. Janes, Laurie Trowbridge and her husband Cornielus of Ludlow, MA, Maureen Nahorniak of Belchertown, MA, Thomas Landry and his wife Patricia of Chicopee, MA, Gary Landry of Indian Orchard, MA, and Gerald Landry of Ludlow, MA. Grandmother of 8. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 9:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow at 10 AM. Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in Sainte Aloysius Cemetery.
