Louise L. (Maliga) Wisniowski

Louise L. (Maliga) Wisniowski, 93, of Ludlow, entered eternal life on Thursday, August 6, 2020.  Beloved wife and true friend of Theodore Wisniowski, she was born in Springfield on November 8, 1926.  She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mondry) Maliga.  She was a graduate of the former Technical High School, working at Carter Springfield as a Time-Study Specialist for 15 years.  She went on to work at several other local companies.  Louise was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow.  Since the inception of the Adoration in our Lady of Mercy Chapel of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, she participated on a weekly basis of adoration with her husband.  She participated in many parish activities as a member of the Rosary Sodality and Daughters of Christ the King. Louise loved dogs, her pride and joy was Tanya and Fritz. She always looked forward to taking them for walks around town.  She was a keen observer of the beauty of nature, loved going on trips to the seashore or to the rural countryside at foliage time.  She also acted as an observer for her husband for beautiful landscape or seascape pictures.

Louise is survived by her brother Frank Maliga and his wife Anna, many nieces and nephews and close friend Gerry Petrolati. Sadly she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years Theodore Wisniowski in 2019, as well as her brothers Bronislaus, Walter, Stanley and Edwin Maliga and sisters Phyllis Boronski and Laura Midura.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church for Louise’s funeral Mass.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.  Donations in Louise’s memory may be made to Christ the King Church, Perpetual Adoration Chapel, 42 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA 01056.
