Lillian C. Demers, 82, of Belchertown passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2022. Born is Barre, VT on January 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Meryl (Eastman) Neddo. She worked for many years as a secretary for River Valley Counseling. A devout communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow, she sang in the choir for over 30 years and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 63 years Leon Demers, her son Glenn Demers; her daughter Roxanne Stebbins; brothers Merlin, Louis and Roger Neddo; sisters Lyle Benoit and Hazel Ray. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Kevin, Jessica, Brian and Michael as well as her great-grandson Max.
Visiting hours for Lillian will be Monday, June 13, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth’s Parish at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Lillian’s family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to St. Elizabeth’s Parish, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA 01056.

I am sorry and shocked to hear Lillian is gone.She and I grew up together on our farms on East Hill in Barre Vermont .We lost touch when she moved to Massachusetts. This is a beautiful picture of her!! I am sorry I never met her husband and children,
