Lauren Gina (Ricci) Myers

Lauren Gina (Ricci) Myers 53 of Gamache Drive Ludlow died peacefully Thursday afternoon July 17, 2008 at her home. Born in Springfield, MA November 24, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Gino and Margaret (Devine) Ricci. Educated in Springfield schools Lauren had worked with her family at the Ricci Market, and started her professional career at Merriam Webster Company of Springfield. She later worked in medical records, and also as a receptionist for Dr. Booker she eventually became office manager. She later worked for Dr. David McKay in medical records, and then worked for Springfield Eye Associates in their medical records unit. Lauren loved to shop, and will long be remembered for her love of travel. Lauren loved the tropics and Island life and truly loved the Hawaiian Islands. She is survived by her loving husband Philip Myers, her two brothers Rock Ricci of Chicopee, MA and Wayne Ricci of Virginia Beach, VA her sisters Cathy McCombs of Chesapeake, VA and Jeannine Gilbert of Springfield, MA Lauren is also survived by many aunts uncles nieces nephews and cousins, and many friends. To help in celebrating Lauren’s life and funeral services, It is requested that you attend in festive tropical island wear. Funeral services celebrating her life will be Tuesday July 22, 2008 at 11 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow, MA Fr. Jeff Minkler will preside. Rites of committal will follow at 1 PM in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA Friends may call at the funeral home Monday July 21, 2008 from 6-8 PM.
