Obituary

L. Donald Laramee, 78, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 27, 2016. Son of the late Leon and Imelda (Millie) (Stebbins) Laramee, he was born in Ludlow, MA on June 4, 1938. A lifelong resident, Don was a 1956 graduate of Ludlow High School. He served his country as a member of the Army National Guard. He was employed by Milton Bradley, Friendly Ice Cream, and Avada Hearing Care among other companies.
Don was an active and devout communicant of St. Elizabeths Parish in Ludlow. He volunteered for over 35 years for the Annual Catholic Appeal and taught high school CCD.

Don is survived by a son Kevin Laramee of Ludlow; three daughters Kristina Laramee of Ludlow, Kimberly Laramee of Chicopee and Karla Laramee of Hampden; a brother Charles Laramee of Ludlow and two sisters Anne Martin of Ludlow and Marie Michael of Monson along with his companion of over 24 years Jaqueline (Jackie) Gagne. Don also leaves five grandchildren: Kaelan, Roxane, Katarina, Kiera and Eli.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Liturgy of Christian Burial for Don on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Parish, Hubbard St, Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal will follow in Island Pond Cemetery, Center St, Ludlow, MA.
