Obituary

Juliet M. (Ferreira) Stelzer, 82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.  Daughter of the late Ernesto and Zofrina (Goncalves) Ferreira, she was born in Ludlow on November 29, 1939.  A graduate of Ludlow High School, Julie went on to work as a secretary for Noonan Energy for many years. Julie loved to do crafts, a favorite was making ribbon angels which she gave as gifts and hung them around her home.  She would lovingly crochet blankets for babies in the neonatal unit at Baystate Hospital as well.  Julie loved being around people and truly enjoyed the activity and friendships she had at the Ludlow Senior Center.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow.

Julie is survived by her daughter Cheryl Bouyea of Ludlow; her son Gene Stelzer and his wife Lee of NH; her sister Elsie DiCassio of AZ; 3 grandsons Benjamin Pellegrini, Lyle and Kristopher Stelzer; granddaughter Sarah Mutch and her beloved great-grandson Emmett Stelzer.  Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Fredrick Stelzer and grandsons Jason and Nick Pellegrini.

Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Main St., Agawam, MA.

Cheryl so sorry for your loss. She will truly be missed. But the memories she gave us will live on through us. The New Years Eve parties on the farm an hayrides. We are blessed to of had her in our life she truly was an amazing woman ??
