Julia L. (Makowicz) Perreault

Julia L. (Makowicz) Perreault, 89, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Born in Ludlow on July 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Apolonia (Kogut) Makowicz. A graduate of Ludlow High School, Julia went on to work for many years as a customer service representative for Dow Jones. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church and enjoyed participating in activities at the Ludlow Senior Center with her sisters. With her husband Ed, Julie spent many wonderful years at their house in West Yarmouth enjoying the beach. She also loved to sew, golf and embroider. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her sons Paul Perreault and his wife Leslie and Edward Perreault and his fiancé Mandy Brady, all of Ludlow, as well as her brother John Makowicz and her sisters Helen Bubien, Alice Saczawa and Frances Bednarczyk. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Noel Perreault (Stefanie), Danielle Perreault, Lindsay Ferri (Nick) and Ryan Perreault (Delia) and her 4 great-grandchildren Easton, Everett, Avery and Audrey. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward Perreault in 2012,

Funeral services for Julie will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Donations in Julie’s memory may be made to the Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center, 228 State St., Ludlow, MA 01056.
