Obituary

Julia (Festa) Sierputowski, 94, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the care and comfort of her daughter’s home. Born in Ludlow on the 4th of July, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Fiorentina (Calabrese) Festa. Julia was a Communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church, now St. Elizabeth’s Parish. She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Martin, her son-in-law and friend Richard Martin, both of Ludlow; granddaughter Lori Rossmeisl of Springfield; a very dear friend, Deborah Lubas of Suffield, CT., and extended family members and friends. Julia was predeceased by her husband,Walter Sierputowski, in 1987; her daughter, Linda Rushlow in 2004; and a granddaughter, Julie Spear, in 2000.

Service Information

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Church,181 Hubbard St., Ludlow. Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
