We all lost a fine Norwich man. He lived our Norwich values of serving his country, his family and his community. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and Norwich buddies. May he now Rest in Peace. RADM Rich Schneider, Norwich President Emeritus
Mrs Tumidajewicz and family. My name is William Fisher. I knew Joe at Norwich. I was a freshman when he was a senior. His dorm room was next to mine. As you may know fraternization between freshmen and upper classmen was not allowed. However, Joe befriended me. He helped me through the difficult year as a freshman. His friendship and counsel were invaluable. He provided guidance on how to navigate life at a military school. I have never forgotten the guidance that he passed on to me. I graduated in 1966. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on his passing.
