Obituary

 

Joseph R. Devine, 58, of Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 26, 2020.  Born in Springfield, MA on February 8, 1962, he was the son of Esther (Symington) Devine and the late Raymond Devine.  A longtime resident, Joseph graduated from Ludlow High School and worked as a printer for several area companies.  An avid fisherman and hunter, Joseph’s best times were those spent with his brothers Bill and Rich fishing at the Oregon Sportsman’s Club.

He is survived by his mother Esther Devine; his brother William Devine and his wife Lisa; his sister Joan Horsler and her husband Michael and his sister-in-law Kim Devine, all of Ludlow.  He also leaves his close friends of many years Marty and Sheila Swift as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, Joseph was predeceased by his brother Richard Devine in 2018.

To the Devine family Joe was a huge part of our lives. Our hearts are broken. We are so grateful to have had him. Joe was always there for us. We have so very many Joe stories.
