Jose Manuel Lopes Cabido

Jose Manuel Lopes Cabido, 74, of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.  Born February 12, 1949 in Faiai Guarda, Portugal, he was the son of the late Joaquim Marques Cabido and Deolinda Lopes Cabido.  He worked for many years as a machine operator for Ludlow Textiles and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.  Jose loved watching soccer, especially his favorite team Sporting.

Jose is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Diolinda de Jesus Boavista Cabido; his daughter Lara Cabido Duffy and her husband Robert; his son Antonio Cabido and his wife Kelly; his grandsons Miguel Cabido Torrao, Manuel Cabido Torrao, Daniel Cabido and his wife Gina and his great-grandson Dante Cabido,  as well as many cousins

Funeral Services for Jose will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St. Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church.  Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
