John A. Pisarczyk, 92, passed away at the Veterans’ Home in Holyoke on May 13, 2026. Born in Springfield on March 2, 1934, he was a son of the late Felix and Amelia (Geborowski) Pisarczyk, attended Immaculate Conception school ands was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Upon graduating, John enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving from 1957 to 1958. He worked as a pipefitter and extruder operator at Monsanto/Solutia for many years. John is survived by his nephew, Richard Bergeron and his partner, Sue, his niece, Madeline Jodoin and her husband Rick and their children Cory McLaughlin and Erin Griffin and his beloved dog Tina. He also leaves his Army buddy and close friend, Joe Monas and his family, with whom he shared so many great memories and salt water fishing trips, as well as Linda, his close friend and neighbor who visited him often. In addition to his parents, John was also predeceased by his siblings, Walter and Stanley Pisarczyk and Nellie Bergeron, and his nephew, Joe Szceback. Funeral services for John will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home. A period of visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 AM. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
