Joan M. (Gravelin) Zielinski

Joan M. (Gravelin) Zielinski 64 of Sunset Drive died peacefully Friday at Baystate Medical Center January 15 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield October 22, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Blanche (LaPine) and Louis Gravelin Sr. A Communicant of Christ the King Church Joan had worked in retail sales, and had worked for many years at the former Lechmere’s Store in Springfield. She later worked for PROTEC. She is survived by her husband Stanley M. Zielinski Jr. A son James Zielinski and his wife Elizabeth of Monson, MA a daughter Susan Kania and her husband Mitch of Palmer, MA. Sister of Louis Gravelin and his wife Jeanne of Dennis, MA and Charles Gravelin and his wife Joan of Ludlow. Also survived by a brother in law and sister in law, John and Janice Zielinski. Grandmother of Jason and Justin Kania, Jennifer, Jessica and Carly Zielinski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews extended family members and friends.
