Jean A. (Laurino) Los, 81, of Ludlow, passed away on December 22, 2022. Daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Wierciak) Laurino, she was born in Springfield on February 24, 1941. A graduate of Commerce High School, she was the office manager for the Marriage Counseling Center for the Diocese of Springfield for many years. Jean volunteered much time and energy to the Community Survival Center in Indian Orchard. She was a devout communicant of Christ the King Parish and a member of its Ladies Guild and Rosary Sodality.
Jean is survived by her son Michael Los and his wife Katherine; her daughters Debora Nelson and her husband Michael and Christine Tibbitts and her husband Charles. She also leaves her beloved grandsons Daniel Los and Matthew Tibbitts; her brother Thomas Laurino and her sister Rosemary Castonguay, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Anne Bourgelas.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jean will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, per Jean’s request, donations in her memory may be made to Matthew’s college education to Matthew Tibbitts P.O. Box 494, Ludlow, MA 01056.

To all of us who lost a great relative and friend in Jean, my sincere condolences. I'm so sorry.
So sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. We grew up together and she was a wonderful person and cousin. Although we haven't been in contact for a long time, I have often thought of our childhood with great memories.
