I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of our summer trips there to enjoy the pool and cookouts with the family and then dinner at Jim’s (Bobbie’sJim) favorite local restaurant. Our thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.

Jim was my neighbor many years ago on Kirkland Ave in Ludlow. As children, we used to sit on the curb and trade comic books. He was a good friend too. My husband and I met him at BJ’s a few years ago and had a great conversation. Truly, one of the good ones and always a gentleman. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lois and his family. RIP
Not easy to read these obituaries with tears in my eyes. Even though I never met Mr. Goodwin, I did have the privilege of of serving in the Navy with his son Scott. Like they say, the apple doesn't fall far from tree. Rest in peace Sir!
Our hearts r broken. Jim had a smile that knocked ur socks off every time u saw him, in pain or not. He loved life & gave a lot of joy & love. To those he cared about. They just don,t make them like him any more. Always looking for a fun time or a good laugh. Mel grew up w many fond memories of his younger yrs w Jim & has never stopped loving him. Tks Jim RIP
When friends and loved ones leave us they cause such pain in their loss. The pain will subside in time and a hollow spot will always be in your heart but wonderful thoughts of events gone by will, hopefully, sustain you. There are so many things I remember of Jim. All are kind and warm and high spirited. The things we did together - skiing, baseball, movie time, IBM dinners, sporting events, Mt Tom picnics. The list goes on forever. Where have the days and years gone? One significant memory I have of Jim is what I called ‘The Max, Jim & Tony Show’. Us IBMers had company issued radios – this was way before cell phones and the modern communication devices we have today. The radios were used to inform all of us of a computer problem somewhere in our territory. If Jim, Tony or Max was dispatched to look into the problem I knew that the other two would also be there ‘assisting’ the first one on the call. I would immediately head for the account to watch these three guys ‘working’ with each other. It was the best part of any day that I could be privy to this escapade of computer banter and expertise. It was a trio of great friends enjoying time together. What more could you ask for? JJ, thanks for all the memories.

You two have been in my life since high school and I cannot imagine my life without you both in it. Your are like bread and butter, so go together, it is not able to think of one without the other. Love you both so much, You are a part of the pattern of my life. Prayers are always in the works for you. Love. always, Anne
