Jacqueline O. (Before) Venne

Jacqueline O. Venne, 82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Daughter of the late Napoleon and Albertine (Grenier) Before, she was born in Springfield on January 22, 1939.  Educated in local schools, Jacqueline was a popular and well loved waitress at Scooter’s in Springfield for many years.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow,

Jacqueline is survived by her sons Alan Venne of Ludlow, Donald Venne and his wife Nancy of Granby; her daughter Robin Leslie and her husband Steven of Chicopee and her sister Lillian Habin of Springfield.  She also leaves her grandchildren Asiana and Raleigh and her great grandson Dashel.  She was predeceased by her husband Walter Venne in 2018 and her brother Robert Before.

Visiting hours for Jacqueline will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jacqueline will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth’s Parish, Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA. Please meet directly at church.  Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Donations in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
