I will always be grateful for how kind you were, especially when I was caring for my mother. I was angry, scared and sad but what kept me going was the support group. At the core of which was Tom and Izzy. You are in my prayers

When I retired from Mercy Medical Center as Chaplain in 2018, our friends Tom & Izzy stepped forward, with another couple Herve & Madelyn, to keep our MMC cancer and grief support groups going, started by our beloved Nun Sister Madeline Joy 2 decades earlier. At the center of our fellowships was always Izzy, her heart overflowing in love for all of us. We miss you, Izzy, even as you continue your prayers for us all from Heaven. ❤️

Our condolences Tom and Izzy’s family. I used to call her sunshine because her smile was just that. She was always thinking of what we could do next as a group. And always was ready to help Sister Madelyn with her projects. We are going to miss her very much but our memories of her will be talked about for a long time when we get together as a group. God Bless you Sunshine!
