Helen A. McGuigan

Helen A. (Carroll) McGuigan, 91, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  She was born March 25, 1929 in Springfield.  A life long resident, she was educated in local schools, Helen was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish.

Helen is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years Francis McGuigan of Springfield, her daughter Maureen McGuigan of Clearwater Beach, FL, her son Steven McGuigan of Chicopee and her sister Mary Caporale of Feeding Hills.

A public walk through visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA.  adhering to state and local guidelines regarding no contact and social distancing. Face coverings are required.  Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105 or www.dakinhumane.org.
