Genevieve G. (Cienciwa) Vance, 98, of Ludlow passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Born November 2, 1916 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Nelepa) Cienciwa.
Educated in Springfield schools, she was employed by Service Rubber for 33 years. Genevieve was a communicant of the former St. Matthews and St. Jude Churches in Indian Orchard.
Genevieve is survived by her son Andrew Vance of Palmer; daughter-in-law Patricia Pafumi of Ludlow; two grandchildren Andrew Vance II and Alissa Chapin and her husband Brian all of Palmer. She also leaves her great-grandsons Brandon Chapin and Alex Chapin along with many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Donald Vance in November, 1990.
Funeral Services celebrating Genevieves life will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home
