Fred M. Nowak 97 of Ludlow died peacefully on Wednesday January 8, 2014. Born in Ludlow, MA June 12, 1916 son of the late Marek and Antoinette Nowak. Educated in local schools he was a Communicant of Christ the King Church, and worked at Package Machinery for many years. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Fred was also a member of the Ludlow Polish American Citizens Club, and the Polish American Veteran’s Club. His wife Catherine (Bielanski) Nowak died in 2001. He is survived by his children, Fred Nowak Jr. and Chester Nowak both of Ludlow and Ann Nowak – Sheracki of Belchertown. Grandfather of Jacob,and Abbey Curto and Maggie McElroy. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
