Floyd “Glen” Baird, 61, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Son of the late James and Shirley Baird, he was born in Birmingham, AL on December 7, 1961. Until recently he lived in St. Petersburg, FL, working as a salesman for several auto dealerships. Glen loved music and playing his drums. He also enjoyed muscle cars and golfing.
Glen is survived by his partner of 31 years Cherie Ptaszkiewicz and her family Eugene and Patricia Ptaszkiewicz; Lisa Fueston; Darlene and Gerson Fontoura and Eugene and Tiffany Ptaszkiewicz Jr.
Visiting hours for Glen will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family In lieu of flowers donations in Glen’s name may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
