Obituary

Esther (Bagg) Brown, 80, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born in Holyoke on March 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Hazel (Livermore) Bagg. Esther graduated from South Hadley High School and worked for over 24 years as the Senior Chef at the Ludlow Senior Center.

Esther is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Brown of Ludlow; her sons Ronald Brown (Laurie) of Chicopee; Kevin Brown (Kristi) of Ashland, MO; her daughter Rebecca Zabik (Todd) of Belchertown and her brother Paul Bagg of South Hadley. She also leaves her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Muriel Thayer.

Visiting hours for Esther will be Monday, October 20, 2025 from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Main St., Agawam, MA. Donations in Esther’s memory may be made to https://donorservices.alz.org
