Dear Ed, Fred and Reggie, I am very sorry for your loss. Both our families on Prospect Street were blessed with incredible men for fathers. Ed Perlak represented three of the most important qualities a person can have, he was Humble, Hard Working and Smart. While never boastful, when asked, he would share his pride in his incredibly accomplished children, but mostly liked to talk about his grandchildren. whether they were world class musicians, trainers, or leaders in business or hospitality, it was clear that Ed's intellect and hard work were being passed down. Ed always seemed genuinely happy to see you and was one of the best listeners I knew. He would surprise me on how well read and up to date he was on business and the market. I hope Helen isn't giving him too much grief for making here wait, but I am sure she knows he was needed here, making the world a better place. I will miss our glass and wine and chats. Your friend and neighbor, Kevin
