Diolinda “Linda” Dias, 94, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Daughter of the late Alfred and Maria Albuquerque, she was born in Holyoke on November 11, 1928. Linda was a graduate of Chicopee High School and worked as the credit manager for several local companies, retiring from U.S. Foods in 2003. She was a devout communicant of Christ the King parish in Ludlow. Linda enjoyed traveling and visiting the casino with friends.
Linda is survived by her daughter Julia “Julie” Dias of Ludlow, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Sebastian “Beech” Dias and her brother Tony Albuquerque.
Visiting hours for Linda will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 9:00-10:15 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 63 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Christ the King Church, 41, Warsaw Ave., Ludlow, MA 01056. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Those attending are asked to wear a touch of purple, Linda’s favorite color. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to Ludlow Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 382, Ludlow, MA 01056-0382 or Christ the King Church.
