David Raccis, 62, of Wilbraham, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Son of the late Constanty and Anne (Janule) Raccis, he was born in South Plainfield, NJ on October 7, 1960. Dave dedicated 24 years to Crete Carrier Corporation as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager. A talented drummer, Dave played polka music for over 40 years. He was a devout communicant of St. Cecilia’s Parish in Wilbraham and proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
Dave is survived by beloved wife of 40 years Michelle (Osowiecki) Raccis; his children Lanelle Bukowski and her husband Robert and David Raccis and his wife Cara and his sisters Patricia Maingot and Yvonne Wright. He also leaves his two beloved grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Raccis.
Visiting hours for Dave will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM in St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham, MA. Please meet directly at church.
