Obituary

Cynthia J. (Jackson) Gow, 74, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Daughter of the late Charles and Jean (Goewey) Jackson, she was born in Ludlow on June 5, 1942. Educated in Ludlow schools, Cynthia worked for many years as a waitress for Friendlys. She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Ludlow.

Cynthia is survived by a daughter Nancy Tunis, her brother Charles Jackson Jr. and his wife Joyce Conn and her sister Donna Ray Hawks. She also leaves nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her son Michael Gow earlier this year.

Funeral services for Cynthia will be Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA. Burial will follow in Island Pond Cemetery, Center St, Ludlow, MA.

I met Cindy at the Nursing Home. I usually sat with her and my Mother, Marcelle Rudek, at lunch time. She was one of the nicest and sweetest people that I have ever met. My Mother and I will miss her greatly. May she rest in peace.
