Bernette L. Farrell

Bernette L. (Miltimore) Farrell 87 of East Longmeadow, MA died February 10, 2013 in a Wilbraham nursing home. Born in St. Johnsbury, VT December 7, 1925 daughter of the late Claude and Hazel (Miller) Mltimore. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Spaulding High School. Bernette had lived in Barre, VT. She was employed by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company with over 27 years of service, retiring in 1988. She was a member of its Quarter Century Club. She was an active member of the Quarry Hill Tenants Association. She is survived by her loving family, sons Gino Sassi and his wife Ruth of Ludlow, Randall Sassi and his wife Sue of Bow, NH and daughter Susan Sroka of Ludlow, MA Sadly she was predeceased by a son in law Fred Sroka. Sister of Norman A. Miltimore and his wife Judy Vannelli of Southwick, MA and Sally Mackay and her husband Boomer Paige of Agawam, MA Sister in law of Bubba Miltimore of Southwick, MA Grandmother of 9, Great Grandmother of 14, Great-Great Grandmother of 3. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Bernette is now reunited with her best friend Vivian Cook. It was Bernette’s wish that all funeral services be private.
