Obituary

Arlene L. (O’Neill) Walton 79 of 460 West St. Ludlow died Saturday, January 14 in care and comfort of her home. Born in South Kingston, RI January 7, 1933, daughter of the late John and Eugenie (Faubert) O’Neill. She was a customer service supervisor with many years of service at the Navy Exchange Submarine Base in Groton, CT During her life she and her husband lived in England, and traveled throughout Europe. While at the Vatican she had and audience with and met Pope John Paul II. In her short time at Keystone Commons she had made many friends there. She was the widow of Calvin O. Walton who died in 1997. She is survived by her loving family, A son Kevin Walton of Plainfield, CT daughters Pamela Bradway and her husband Scott of Ludlow, and Cynthia Caramante and her husband James of Old Lyme, CT, a brother Robert O’Neill of Wakefield, RI. Grandmother of 9 Great-grandmother of 3. Also survived by many nieces, nephews extended family members and friends. Sadly she was predeceased by brothers John Jack O’Neill, and Senator William O’Neill.

Service Information

Family and friends are invited to join Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 11 AM at St. Cecilia’s Church 42 Main St. Wilbraham for funeral services celebrating her life. Rites of committal will be in Arlington National Cemetery Arlington, VA at a later date.
