Obituary

Amelia (“Emily”) S. Kaczowka, 103, of Indian Orchard, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Born November 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Kajeton and Sophie (Mondry) Kaczowka. Amelia worked for many years at the former Westinghouse Corp. and later at Steiger’s Dept. Store. She was a devout communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, active in many clubs and sodalities. She was also a member of the Polish American Veteran’s Ladies Auxiliary

Amelia is survived by nephews Msgr. Richard Sniezyk, Stephen Tetrault (Linda) of Ludlow and David Paul(Maureen) of Belchertown, and nieces Linda Savage (Thomas) of Lee and Karen Boucher (Daniel) of Chelmsford.  She is also survived by several grand nieces and grand nephews, as well as a great-grand niece and great-grand nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Stephen Kaczowka (MIA, WWII) and Julian Kaczowka, and sisters Stella Tetrault, Wanda Sniezyk and Phyllis Paul.

A Memorial Mass for Amelia will be celebrated at a later date.
