Ray and family, I am so sorry to hear of Alice's passing. I will never forget sitting in your kitchen when I was a little girl, watching on as she cut my dad's hair. It was always a joke that she was the only other person who could blow in his ear (to remove the bits of hair) besides my mom and that always made us laugh. She will be missed.

Alice and I lived next door to each other for over 19 years. We had wonderful times, shopping, laughing and just sharing the good and the bad. She was a very loving, giving friend, always trying to help or lend a hand. I don’t think I’d ever known anyone, prior to her, who always tried to make life easier or better in any way she could. She was there when my kids were born and I remember the time I had a doctor’s appointment and asked her if she could watch my oldest son. He was napping when I left but woke up shortly after and started screaming bloody murder. Turned out she couldn’t find his pacifier and after searching high and low, she realized he wouldn’t stop until he had one. Needless to say, she met me in the driveway, relayed what had happened and I immediately backed out to go on a pacifier mission. Later on we laughed about it but I guarantee that was the worst job she had ever taken! That was the thing about Alice, she could never say no to a friend. She was loving caring, giving and generous. When I remarried and moved away, I truly missed a very special gal and always will.
