Donald Daley, 81, of Ludlow, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 after a long and valiant fight with cancer. Born June 21, 1935 in Holyoke, MA, he was the son of the late Francis and Lillian (Boudreau) Daley. Educated in Holyoke schools, Donald proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Sewall Street Auto Body for 27 years. He also worked at Big Y in Ludlow. Donald was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow.
Donald is survived by his wife of 32 years Carol (Chauvin) Daley of Ludlow; his son Alan Daley (Tina) of Chicopee and two daughters Diane Ladner (Michael) of Springfield and Joanne Cormier of NH; his step-children Deborah Chartier of Ludlow, Patricia Foley of Agawam, Cheryl Keefe (William) of NH and Eugene Chartier (Angela) of Springfield. Donald also leaves his brother William Daley and his sister Marilyn Godek along with several grandchildren and his faithful dog Bosco. Donald’s family would like to thank his beloved caregiver Marisol for her wonderful care and compassion.

Funeral services for Donald will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA.
Memorial Donations may be made to Veteran’s Services, Town of Ludlow, 488 Chapin St, Ludlow, MA 01056.
